This was done over a photo taken of me and Sxip Shirey at the Evelyn Evelyn concert in Vancouver in May of 2010 ...
I had never had the entertaining joy to listen to Sxip (pronounced Skip) before .. and kinda sorta may have become obsessed over his music .. which you can hear lots of here [link] or facebook fan him here [link]
That's penny whistles and music boxes behind him ... he uses odd found things to make hauntingly awesome music.
Anywhooo .. I liked it .. found the night an entirely moving experience .. sent him this as a thank you for his works. Hopefully he likes it.
